Cupric chloride dihydrate

Copper is needed for hemoglobin synthesis, iron oxidation, cellular respiration and antioxidant defence; copper deficiency anemia is treated with oral or intravenous copper as copper gluconate, copper sulfate or copper chloride, and its blood effects reverse within 4 to 12 weeks while its nerve damage reverses only in part.
