Ferric derisomaltose (iron isomaltoside 1000)

In the IRONMAN trial of 1,137 patients with heart failure and iron deficiency, intravenous ferric derisomaltose lowered recurrent heart failure admissions and cardiovascular death against usual care (rate ratio 0.82), short of statistical significance except in a pre-specified COVID-19 sensitivity analysis.
