ARA-290 — living evidence map
The Atlas page holds the claims; this is how its evidence evolved.
Summary
ARA 290 (cibinetide) is a non-haematopoietic peptide designed from the structure of erythropoietin that interacts selectively with the innate repair receptor mediating tissue protection. · pmid:25387363
History
In a phase 2 study in type 2 diabetes, 28 days of daily subcutaneous ARA 290 was followed by improvements in HbA1c, lipid profiles and neuropathic symptom scores, with no safety issues identified. · pmid:25387363
In a small randomized pilot study of sarcoidosis with small fibre neuropathy, it improved neuropathy screening scores over four weeks compared with placebo. · pmid:23168581
Identity
PubChem CID 91810664: Cibinetide, C51H84N16O21, 1257.3 g/mol. · pubchem:91810664
CAS registry number 1208243-50-8. · pubchem:91810664
Where the evidence actually sits
Proportion of the 2 claims about ARA-290 standing at each tier. Community volume is shown on the Consensus tab beside this and is never averaged into it.
Living evidence history
2 resolved citations, oldest to newest, coloured by tier. Retractions and contradictions land here as they are recorded.
Structure
No structure representation on record. PepJunkie draws only what an authoritative record supplies; for a peptide that is the residue sequence, and none has been curated for ARA-290 yet.
Dose evidence, rung by rung
No established safe human dose. Nothing on file establishes one. That is a statement about the evidence PepJunkie holds, not a promise about the molecule.

nothing resolved on this rung
2 resolved citations, 0 unresolved (an unresolved citation lends nothing). Community volume is its own rung and is never averaged into the evidence rungs.
