NADH (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, reduced) — living evidence map
The Atlas page holds the claims; this is how its evidence evolved.
Summary
In a randomized, double-blind crossover pilot study in 26 people with chronic fatigue syndrome, 8 responded to a stabilized oral form of NADH (the reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) against 2 on placebo. · pmid:10071523
Mechanism
In mice, NADH given by mouth, unlike nicotinamide or NAD+, did not raise urinary nicotinamide metabolites, and NADH was rapidly converted to an unidentified compound at stomach-like acidic pH. · pmid:16802695
Identity
PubChem CID 439153: Nadh, C21H29N7O14P2, 665.4 g/mol. · pubchem:439153
CAS registry number 58-68-4. · pubchem:439153
IUPAC name: [[(2R,3S,4R,5R)-5-(6-aminopurin-9-yl)-3,4-dihydroxyoxolan-2-yl]methoxy-hydroxyphosphoryl] [(2R,3S,4R,5R)-5-(3-carbamoyl-4H-pyridin-1-yl)-3,4-dihydroxyoxolan-2-yl]methyl hydrogen phosphate. · pubchem:439153
Where the evidence actually sits
Proportion of the 2 claims about NADH (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, reduced) standing at each tier. Community volume is shown on the Consensus tab beside this and is never averaged into it.
Living evidence history
2 resolved citations, oldest to newest, coloured by tier. Retractions and contradictions land here as they are recorded.
Structure
No structure representation on record. PepJunkie draws only what an authoritative record supplies; for a peptide that is the residue sequence, and none has been curated for NADH (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, reduced) yet.
Dose evidence, rung by rung
No established safe human dose. Nothing on file establishes one. That is a statement about the evidence PepJunkie holds, not a promise about the molecule.
