Creatine phosphate (phosphocreatine)

In a randomized, double-blind pilot trial in 120 high-risk valve-surgery patients, intravenous and cardioplegic phosphocreatine did not lower peak troponin I after surgery compared with saline, nor change creatinine, inotrope use or other secondary outcomes.
